OF HOLINESS AND LOVE

 The foremost characteristic of God is holy. The only feature that is used to Him three times. We know that in the Jewish language, if something is very important and needs to be emphasized is repeated twice - "Verily, verily ..."If this word is used to characterize the Lord three times, it's very important.  

God is HOLY -- a declaration HOLY - underscores HOLY - thick underlining. 

Revelation 4:8 "And the four living creatures had six wings, are full of eyes around and under her wings, and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, who was and who is to is and is to come. " 

Yes, God is Love, He gave His Son for the love of the world and this is a message that we have to bring to the world. But if you don't tell people about God's holiness, they will never understand Christ's sacrifice on the cross. They will never understand God's wrath, fallen upon His own Son to not to fall upon us, to save us from His wrath.And if in the 18th and 19th century's emphasis was on sin and hell, now we are at the other extreme - just talk about love.  

Now, even so-called Christians who attend church regularly, they are not much different from the world. They have the same values ​​as the world they have the same desires and aspirations, as the world,  The only thing that they think they are different is that they had put Christ as the cherry on top of the cake of their lives. Extremity of preaching "God is Love", without balanced with clarification of the Holiness of God has led to man-centred modern Christianity, which is actually a satanic philosophy of humanism.  

Hence the prosperity gospel, from there comes the tolerance of sin, even we hardly ever talk about sin in the churches not to chase people out of the meeting. Hence the apostate church that is more concerned about the opinion of the world, rather than the opinion of God. So we have become insensitive to sin as lepers to pain, we are going to self-destruction. We're so dazed by the impact of humanism that we think we can continue to live in sin, naively believing that God is so good, He'll forgive us, perhaps even no need to pray to forgive us. He knows our hearts, knows that we love Him, and He loves us, He would not send you to hell, but how He will send us to hell? Does hell even exist? How can  God who is love to create such a place? ... 

The message of God's love is very important for the poor, suffering, oppressed, disenfranchised people. It is very important for Christians who walk in defeat and despair and condemnation. God's Love is what keeps Him looking for us, calls us to reach out toward us. Knowing the Love of God gives us the strength and confidence when we go through trials and tribulations. Confidence in God's love gives us hope in despair. We can not live without the love of God. Yes, He loves us as we are, but He loves us too much to leave us in the bondage of sin, deception, false teachings, which traps of  the opponent. 

God's love is that which exposes us and correct us, even in this we know that we are sons - "For the Lord disciplines those he loves, and chastises every son whom he receiveth, If ye endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; , for what son is there whom his father does not discipline? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. "(Hebrews 12:6-8) 

God is not like Eli, who gently admonished his sons: "And he said unto them, Why do ye such things? Because I hear bad things from this whole nation." 

God sent a curse upon all his family and he set up a faithful priest. 

The point is, are we TRUE priests? I'm not just talking just about pastors and church staff, but for all believers - are we TRUE priests?
